Claudia Engdahl

Claudia (Scribner) Engdahl, 69, of Staples, MN passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples, MN. Services for Claudia will be 11:00AM, Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples, with Father Joe Korf officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Claudia Diane was born September 8, 1947 in Staples, MN to Warren and Dorothy (Dahm) Scribner, Jr. She married Darrell Engdahl on June 4, 1977. Claudia worked at Lakewood Health System for 28 years, she loved her job and all of the people she worked with there. She enjoyed vacationing with her grandchildren, bingo, knitting, baking and going to the casino, and had a huge love of dolphins. Claudia was a very loving and caring person. She received loving care from all the staff at the Care Center while living there.

Claudia will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kathy Scribner; sister, Susan Ehresman; brothers, Mike Scribner, Steve (Loretta) Scribner; grandchildren, Alyssa McClure, Derek McClure; along with seven great grandchildren and family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Dorothy Scribner, Jr; grandparents, Theodore and Theoline Dahm, Warren and Catherine Scribner, Sr; grandson, Tyler James McClure; and her husband, Darrell Engdahl. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
