Claire Ayers

Claire Elise Ayers of Staples, MN, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17th 2011, due to complications related to her recent diagnoses of throat cancer. A memorial service is being held on Wed. December 21st at 1:00 P.M., at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples. There will be a time for visitation one hour prior to the service.

Claire was born on July 26th, 1953 in Mpls, MN to Robert Wendel Green and Donna JoAnn Vangen. She attended Minneapolis Central High School where she was very involved in cheerleading and graduated with the class of 1971. She later married and enjoyed traveling on the road with her husband Bruce and their dog T.J., reading, crocheting, and just telling stories with her loved ones.

Claire was survived by her husband of 23 years, Bruce Darrel Joseph Ayers, 3 sisters, Diana (Jack) Anderson, Vonnie (Ron) Marquardt, and Gail Wegner; 3 brothers, Terry (Sue) Nimon, Robert Green, Ross (Terrie) Green; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
