Cindi Ingberg, age 58, of Pine River, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, October 14, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Mitchel and Seydelle Johnson in Great Falls, Montana, on March 25, 1955. Cindi graduated from Brainerd High School in 1973. She married Darwin "Bud" Ingberg on August 17, 1974, at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter. Cindi loved antiques and owned and operated her own antique business in Pine River for 3 years, and also worked at Schaefer's Foods in Nisswa. She was a longtime active member of Whitefish Community Church and was passionate about God. Cindi was a very caring and compassionate person who always put others first.
Cindi is survived by her husband, Darwin "Bud"; her parents, Mitchel and Seydelle Johnson; children: Luke Ingberg, Devlan Ingberg (Rachel), Kati Ingberg (Michael); brother, Gregg Johnson (Laurie); sister, Kim Firkus (Dana); grandchildren: Victoria Ingberg, Ethan Ingberg, Zachery Hall, Kaylee Hall; special aunt, Jan Hale; many nephews, nieces, uncles and friends.
Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, October 19, at Whitefish Community Church, Pine River. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
