Chuck Larson

Chuck "Bud" Larson, age 91, of Nisswa, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Heritage House in Pequot Lakes. He was born to Peter and Clara Larson on June 4, 1925, in Springfield, MN. Chuck was District Manager for Benjamin Moore Paints and owned and operated a home improvement business in New Ulm. He was an excellent woodworker and loved to hunt, fish, golf and spend time with his wife and dear friends.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Nan; children: Cherie Larson, Charles Larson (Laurie), Candace Griffin (Jerry), Catherine Lacy (Bill), Christopher Larson (Andrea); 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly (Schneider) Larson; and three sisters.

Chuck's family wishes to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice, Heritage House staff and all caregivers that supported and cared for him during his illness. Also special thanks to Mike and Alice Duzan.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the donor's favorite charity.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Thursday, December 22, at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, Nisswa. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Nisswa.
