Christine Marks

Christine Marks, 84, of Brainerd, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. A memorial service for Christine will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 25, 2010 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Brainerd, MN.

Christine was born January 7, 1926 in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of Reimer and Mary (Connors) Ronlund. After graduating from Luverne High School in 1943, she attended Worthington Junior College. She worked as a fashion model before teaching copy writing at Fort Lauderdale School of Art for twenty years. Christine was a member of the BSF Bible Study Group, a book club and a patron of the Library.

She will be missed by her brother, John (Linda) Ronlund; four step-children; four nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben Higgins and Buddy Marks; her parents; and her step-mother, Duff Ronlund.
