Chrisa Kraus

Chrisa K. Kraus, 67, of Nisswa, MN died at her home on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Services for Chrisa will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00AM at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, MN with visitation beginning at 10:00AM at the church before services. Interment will be at the Lutheran Church of the Cross Columbarium.

Chrisa was born on February 4, 1951 in Los Angeles, CA to Richard and Phyllis (Gerry) Westergard. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Richfield High School in 1968 in Richfield, MN. She then began school in Kansas City, MO to become an airline stewardess. Chrisa married Randy Miller in 1976 in Minneapolis, MN. They lived in the Twin Cities, where Chrisa started selling flooring and installation. She married Jim Kelly in Apple Valley, MN in 1987. Chrisa then moved to Nisswa, MN in 1992 where she continued her job as a saleswoman for flooring and installation. She married Harold Kraus in Nisswa, MN in 2004. Chrisa enjoyed collecting pens, painting on canvas, and baking.

Chrisa is survived by her son, Jason (Jaime) Miller of Brainerd, MN; three grandchildren, Ryan, Riley, and Randyn; brother, Dale (Joelle) Westergard of Bloomington, MN; nephews and niece, Brian, Jeff, Randal, Richard, and Ryan Westergard; sister, Lisa (Peter) Thomas of Avon, MN; and her beloved dog, Lizzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Phyllis; and brother, David. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter, MN.
