Cherry Francis

Cherry Ann Francis, 83, of Brainerd, passed away on June 12, 2022. There are no services scheduled at this time.

Cherry was born on October 4, 1938, to George and Mildred (Hewartson) McClure in Kalkaska, Michigan. She married Sequoya (Sarge) Francis.

Cherry Loved cooking, gardening, sewing, and raising birds. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and grandkids and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Cherry is survived by her sons, Dennis (Kari) Summers, Randy (Lori) Shockey; sisters, Karen and Mildred; sister in laws, Oneta and Phyllis. Also survived by grandsons, Dennis (Janet Espe), Aaron (Brittny) and granddaughter Brittany (Kris Wehrs). Great grandchildren, Jadyn, Peyton, Pierce, Kaiden, Elliot, Sebastian, Oliver and Millie.  Bonus grandkids Aiden, Jacob and Alexander.  She also held the role of grandma in many other peoples' lives, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sequoyah (Sarge) Francis; parents, George and Mildred McClure; brothers, Gerald McClure, Marvin McClure, Bucky McClure; stepsons, Gary, and Terry Francis.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
