Charlotte (Kaase) Johnson, 77, of Lake Alexander, formerly of St. Paul, died Friday, October 12, 2007 at the St. Johns Hospital in Maplewood, MN. Services for Charlotte will be Friday, at 12:30, October 19, 2007 at the St. James Catholic Church in Randall, MN. Visitation will be from 11 - 12:30 at the church. Charlotte Louise Johnson was born on June 12, 1930 in St. Paul, MN to Carl and Emma Kaase. She was a graduate of St. Paul Johnson class of 1948. On June 23, 1951 she was married to Donald JockoJohnson. They raised 5 wonderful children on the East side of St Paul where they lived for 38 years. Summers were spent at Lake Alexander, where they retired in 1989.
Charlotte cherished her family and had many lifelong friends. Her life joy was spending time with each of her 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. It was her pleasure to volunteer at church and throughout the community. She loved people and everyone loved her. Known for her wonderful cooking and baking, she also enjoyed gardening, ceramics, bird watching, traveling, reading, and especially spending winters in Florida with Jocko.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Jocko. She is survived by children Gary (Belinda) Johnson, Sue (Skip) Saete, Roger (Cindy) Johnson, Caryl (Jim) Sabean, Jill (Jeff) Pugh,; grandchildren Gary (Peggy), Jennifer (Ryan), Brian, Luke, Jesse, Josh, Andy (Anne), Ed, Brooke, Lisa, Samantha, Hailey, Sam, and Jordan; great-grandchildren Taylor, Jaret and Riley; brothers Roger and Chuck; sisters Joan, Kathy, Kris, and Mary.
