Charlotte Giefer

Charlotte A. Giefer, age 93, of St. Paul and Trout Lake, Minnesota, died peacefully on September 2, 2008, in Pine River, Minnesota. She was born October 31, 1914 in Morton, Minnesota.
*She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, William; dedicated caregiver, son, Robert and his wife, Diane; grandchildren: Julie Thomas (Steve), Christine Merullo (Steve), Joseph Giefer, Amy Leuer (Andrew); great-grandchildren: Matthew and Mackenzie Merullo, Melissa and Samuel Thomas, and Abigail Leuer; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Betty Giefer; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda; her parents, Henry and Ellen Beckman; and five siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Wednesday, September 10, at St. John Nuemann Catholic Church, 4030 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan, Minnesota. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota/North Dakota.
