Charles Stavish

Charles D. Stavish, 60, of Randall, died Monday, February 4, 2013 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 7, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church in Randall with Father Jimmy Joseph officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather Wednesday evening from 4-8 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall. Interment with Military Honors will take place at 12 PM at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley.

Charles was born August 26, 1952, in Randall, MN, the son of Frank and Louise (Wippler) Stavish. Following high school, he served in the military. In 1974, he was united in marriage to Darcia Olen. For 30 years, Charles worked as the warehouse manager for Camp Ripley. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Randall VFW, and St. James Catholic Church. He also belonged to the Big Lakes Sportsman Club and liked to hunt. Charles also enjoyed trips to Casinos.

He will be missed by children, Robin (Doug) Feustel, of Randall, Jesse (Kelly) Stavish, of Little Falls, and Bryan Stavish, of Little Falls; mother, Louise Stavish, of Randall; sisters, Theresa (Bob) Hoffman, of Pierz and Melinda (Richard) Heinz, of Cushing; brothers, George (Chris) Stavish, of Randall, David (Jane) Stavish, of Cushing, Donald (Judy) Stavish, of Randall, Martin (Linda) Stavish, of Randall, and Jerome (Kim) Stavish, of Randall; significant other, Char Kronbeck; and grandchildren, Emily, Vincent, Vallery, James, Lainey, Hannah, and Parker. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Stavish; wife, Darci; brother, John; and niece, Kasey.
