Charles Harmon age 84 resident of Little Falls went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at St. Cloud Hospital. Memorial Services will be at Lincoln Evangelical Free Church, Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 2:00 pm. Visitation starts at 1:00 pm at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Brenny Funeral Home of Randall
Charles Henry Harmon was born October 24, 1923 in Ord, Nebraska to Don and Maude Harmon. He was united in marriage to Margaret Herrinton in 1946 at Newton, Iowa. He served in the US Army from 1943-1946 going on to graduate from Iowa State  Ames, Iowa in 1950. Five yrs late they moved to Eagle Bend, MN to farm. From 1967-1970 he and his wife were the managers at Camp Shamineau by Motley, MN. They then moved to Fish Trap Lake in 1970 by Lincoln, MN to become the territory manager for Hubbard Milling Company. He also was part owner in P&R Ag Service, Long Prairie. He was a 4-H leader for 10 yrs and served in numerous ways at the Lincoln Evangelical Free Church. After retiring in 1986 he and his wife spent 3 yrs in the Peace Corp in Jamaica and St.Lucia and another year doing mission work in the Caribbean region. They then moved to Cherokee Village, Arkansas for 7 yrs. At that time they returned to central Minnesota to Little Falls.

He is survived by his wife of 62 yrs Margaret, sons, Michael (Debbie) Harmon, Placerville, CA, Patrick (Jeannie) Harmon, Colorado Springs, CO, Curtis Harmon, Rogers, MN, daughters, Kathleen (Roger) Enns, Randall, MN, Corrine (Richard) Rucks, Rogers, MN, 2 brothers, Donald and Clark Harmon, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Doris Snook, brother Robert Harmon.
