Charles Albrecht

Charles William Albrecht, 64, of Brainerd died on Monday, December 3, 2012 at Good Samaritan Village-Elmwood in Brainerd, MN. Funeral Services for Charlie will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00PM before services. Interment will be in Morgan, MN.

Charlie was born on March 5, 1948 in Alexandria, MN to Reginold and Shirley (Netzke) Albrecht. He was a veteran of the Army. Charlie moved to Brainerd from Lamberton in 1987. He worked for 20 years at the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Charlie was a member of AA and enjoyed woodworking. He also loved to go fishing and hunting.

Charles is survived by his children, Jessica Albrecht of London, England, Adam (Leah) Albrecht of St. Paul, MN, Eva (Brandon) Blanchard of Moorhead, MN, and Laura (Elisha) Dwyer of Breezy Point, MN; brothers, Roger (Kathy) Albrecht of Mankato, MN, Tom Albrecht of Redwood Falls, MN, and Jay (Sandy) Albrecht of Elk River, MN; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
