Charleen L. O'Neil, 70, of Brainerd, MN died on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Essentia Health/St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, MN. A Graveside Service for Charleen will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00AM at Garrsion Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2015 from 5:00-7:00PM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.

Charleen was born on February 23, 1946 in Pine Island, MN to Merle and Alberta (Standfield) Rehling and Alberta Standfield. She attended school at Brainerd High School and married Roger O'Neil on November 24, 1962. Charleen was a stay at home mom and worked at the casino for several years. She made life totally miserable for her children by spoiling her grandchildren. Charleen loved to read, crochet, and play bingo. She was always full of joy and loved to take care of people.

Charleen is survived by her children, Sean O'Neil of Rapid City, South Dakota, Erin O'Neil of Brainerd, MN, Peggy (Scott Phillips) O'Neil of Brooklyn Center, MN, Shannon (Elizabeth) O'Neil of Rapid City, MN and Colleen (Kurt) Kounkel of Brainerd, MN; siblings, Gloria (Rich) Kowarsch of Forrest Lake, MN, Sandy Franke of Aitkin, MN, Max Rehling of Brainerd, MN, Dorene (Gordy) Pelarski of Remer, Minnesota, Carol (Dave) Conway of Aitkin, Minnesota, and Darrel "Ole" Rehling of Ham Lake, MN; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger "Podge"; son, Joseph, brothers, Merle "Butch", and Larry "Mike"; and sister, Donna Weber. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
