Catherine Betts

Catherine Betts, 96, of Brainerd died on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at The Almond House in Brainerd. Services for Catherine will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Deacon Roger Marks officiating at 11:00 AM with visitation starting one hour prior to services. Interment will take place in the spring at Riverside Cemetery.

Catherine was born on June 29, 1915 in Dickey, South Dakota to Isadore and Katherine (Monns) Martin. She loved gardening and maintained four acres of garden.
She was a resident of this area for over 70 years moving here from South Dakota.

Catherine is survived by her step-children; James, George, Janice; niece and nephews; Debra (Harry) Seibert, Allan (Amy) Christensen, and Kevin Christensen; sister, Ann Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew; five sisters and three brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
