Carolyn Peterson

Carolyn P. Peterson, 72, of Aitkin, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at her home. Memorial Services will be held later this spring at Riverwood Cemetery in Kelsey, MN.

Carolyn was born November 25, 1938, in Kelsey, MN, the daughter of Ernest and Borghild (Soth) Randall. After graduating from Cotton High School in 1956, Carolyn was united in marriage to Kenneth Jon Peterson on October 5, 1957. Carolyn raised her family and cared for her home.

She will be missed by her husband, Ken; her children, Randy (Dyanna) Peterson, of Mora, Denise (Art) Ellis, of Battle Lake, Bryan Peterson, of Chatfield, and Dale (Tracy) Peterson, of Braham; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Floyd Randall, of Cotton; and sister, Evelyn (Gary) Olinger, of Braham. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Clinton, Donald and Howard; and her sisters, Blanche and Margaret.
