Caroll Kottschade

Caroll Anne Kottschade, age 79, of Pine River, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Brainerd. She was born to Johnna and Caroline Petersen on April 20, 1939, in Lac Qui Parle County, MN. Caroll spent her leisure time reading, crafting, camping, watching HGTV and cooking shows. She especially enjoyed spending time with family.

Caroll is survived by her husband, Myron; children: Kirk “KC”, Connie, Marvin (Lori), James (Tammy), Vernon “Pinky” (Rhonda); sister, Jean Becker; grandchildren: Chesa, Daniel, Scott, Ethan, Brianna, Tessa, Kayla, Samantha, Mitchel, Rachel, Jenna; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dean Petersen; and stepfather, Kenneth Larson.

Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, October 27, at Pleasant Hill Community Church, Rural Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
