Caroline Starry

Caroline M. Starry, 84, of Emily, MN died on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Graveside Services for Caroline will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily, MN at 1:30PM with Pastor Barry Hite officiating.

Caroline was born on February 15, 1930 in Landon, ND to Frank and Barbara Goette. She was raised in North Dakota and then moved to the area, got married and lived there all of her life. Caroline worked as a seamstress for Atek in Brainerd, MN. She also worked for Reed's Bakery in Crosslake, MN. Her pastimes included gardening, cooking, and quilting. Caroline enjoyed harvesting wild rice.

Caroline is survived by her children, Kevin, Kristi, and Kim Starry; grandson, Chad Frink; great-grandchildren, R.J., Vada Jo, and Ceilidh; step-grandchildren, Jordan, Cole, and Danek; brothers, Clarence (Millie) Goette and Paul Goette; sister, Dorothy Rono; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; grandson, Ronald Frink III; brothers, Bill, Jim, and Harvey Goette; and sister, Lillian Goette. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
