Carol Rudbeck

Carol A. Rudbeck, 76, of Pequot Lakes, MN, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023. She passed peacefully in the morning hours in the presence of her sons during prayers with a Reverend Father of the Catholic Church.

Carol was born in Grand Rapids, MN, on May 23, 1947, to Gerald and Catherine Carlson, one of seven children. She lived a full life, having two boys of her own. Dedicated to her family, she worked tirelessly her entire life and raised her boys with pride and adoration. Carol was confirmed on June 25, 1961, at Bear River Lutheran Church. She was member of the Pequot Legion Auxiliary, serving as President for a term. She also loved camping, fishing, campfires and being outside. Carol was a graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College with a degree in Cosmetology. She leaves in her passing not only her grateful and loving family, but so many wonderful friends she made along the way.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Catherine; sisters, Kay and Mary; and sisters-in-law, Jill and Leah Carlson. She leaves behind her sons, Brent and Brad Dullum; granddaughter, Ashlee; brothers, Allen Carlson, Donald (Gussie) Carlson, Merlin Carlson, Galen Carlson; and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, September 6, at Kline Funeral Home in Pequot Lakes, with a graveside service to follow at the Pequot Lakes Cemetery.
