Carol Lasher

Carol Jean Lasher, 77, of Garrison, passed away in her home on Thursday, November 8, 2018. Services are being planned for a later date.

Carol was born December 13, 1940, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Arthur and Veronica (Haider) Montour. Following high school, Carol attended beauty school and owned and operated salons in Minneapolis and Pequot Lakes before opening Hair Quarters in Garrison. In 1997, she married Raymond Lasher. The couple enjoyed a life full of social outings; they liked to ride motorcycle, fish, and just spend time with friends and family. She was fascinated with her family history and researched her roots back to Fur Traders crossing over to Minnesota from Canada in the 1700s.

She will be missed by her husband of 21 years, Ray; son, Cory Back; stepchildren, Paul (Cherry) Lasher, Clint Lasher, Melanie (Chad) Wieganowski, and Amy (fiancé Todd) Tibbetts; grandson, Hayden; step-grandchildren, Devin, Gabriel, Noah, Lilly, Elly, Brady, Cole, Hannah, Faith, Cody, Kaia, and Garrett; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
