Carol Hoff

Carol J. Hoff, 65, of Brainerd, passed away late Thursday December 24, 2009 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Friends are welcome to gather from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter and also for one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley. Carol was born to Carl and Phyllis(Maday) Boggie, on September 2, 1944 in Bloomington, MN. Carol was united into marriage with George Hoff on October 19, 1963, in Brunswick, MN. Carol worked as a salesperson, for Rice Creek Agency, in Fridley, MN and retired in 1999. Carol enjoyed bowling, camping, golfing, fishing, and cardclub. Carol is survived by her husband, George; children, Natlie (Mark) Bateman, Merrifeild, MN, and Marie (Joel) Thurstin of Brainerd, MN.; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Doug(Glenna)Boggie, of Raleigh, NC.; Ralph(Pam)Boggie of Tower-Sudan, MN.; Gordy(Vicki)Boggie of Bloomington, MN.; mother Phyllis Boggie, Two Harbors, MN. Carol was preceded in death by her father, Carl Boggie and her grandmother Lydia Maday.
