Carol Hanson

Carol Hanson, age 52, of Brainerd, died on Friday, February 9, 2001 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2001, with Reverend Dwight Johnson officiating at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
Carol Jean Hanson was born on September 18, 1948, in Des Moines, IA to Arthur Palmquist and Emily Ione Hanson. She grew up and attended schools in St. Paul, MN. Following school she traveled around a lot, working as a Dietician throughout the area. In 1990, she moved to Brainerd where she worked at Bang Printing for several years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping, fishing and walking.

She is survived by her mother, Emily Hanson of Fort Ripley; 3 sons: Joey Sande, Robbie Sande and Freddy Sande; 3 brother: El Roy Block of Fort Ripley, Larry Palmquist of White Bear Lake, MN and John Palmquist of St. Paul, MN; 3 sisters: Cheryl Brown of Leader, MN, Nancy Patterson of Brainerd and Beverly Eberle of Brainerd; 3 grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
