Carol Grande

Carol Jean Grande, 69, of Crosslake, died on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Castleridge Care Center in Eden Prairie. Funeral Services for Carol will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Crosslake Lutheran Church in Crosslake, MN at 1:00PM with Pastor Nate Lundgren officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment at Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake, MN.

Memorials are preferred.

Carol was born on December 29, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA to Orlin and Charlotte Sackett. She came to Minnesota in the early 1950's and lived in various places in southern Minnesota. Carol moved to Crosslake 13 years ago and married her second husband Andy. She loved to hunt and fish with Andy and she also enjoyed accompanying him to the golf course. Carol will be remembered as a strong willed person with a good and loving heart.

Carol is survived by her children, Richard Boerner and Lynn (Jeff) Priess; grandchildren, Matt, Jon, and Adam; step-daughter, Barb Rasmussen; step-grandson, Joel; sisters, Shirley Sackett and Nicki (Al) Scharn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Robert Boerner and Andy Grande.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
