Carol Cameron

Carol J. Cameron, 78, of Staples, Minnesota passed away on November 21, 2021. Services will be on Saturday, November 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Carol was born on June 16, 1943 to Elmer and Pearl (Motl) Judd.  She married David ‘Ike” Cameron on April 25, 1964 in Staples. She retired from her role as secretary at Target corporation in 1994. She and Ike bought Lefty’s Bar in Staples which they operated until 2001. Carol enjoyed dancing, gardening, animals, riding horses, and had a great time snowmobiling and ATVing. She created a beautiful home and took pride in keeping it clean and well organized.

Most of all she loved her family and friends. She made lifelong friendships and was very proud of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David, a son Chad (Lizabeth) grandchildren Justin (Christina) Cameron, Matthew (Holly) Cameron, Lydia Cameron (Sean Shafer), Nathan Cameron, siblings Angie (Judd) Martin, and Gerald Judd.

She is preceded in death by her parents, son Craig Cameron, stepdad Robert Sellnow, brother Arnold Judd, sister Shirley Perry, and brother Ray Judd.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Sacred Heart Catholic School.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
