Carl Stromberg

Carl L. Stromberg, 34, of Pine River, died accidently, Sunday, June 23, 2013. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Crosslake Lutheran Church with Pastor Richard Erickson officiating. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services. Interment at Swanberg Cemetery.

Carl was born December 16, 1978, in Brainerd, MN, the son of Loy and Janet (Gunnerson) Stromberg. After high school, he attended and graduated from the University of Minnesota where he was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. Carl was proud to be an Eagle Scout. He enjoyed sailing, bicycling, skiing, Frisbee golfing, and was an avid Gopher Fan. Carl was an integral part of the family business, Stromberg Chicks and Gamebirds. He revised the Guide to Better Hatching in 2012 and enjoyed spreading his passion for poultry.

He is survived by his parents, Loy and Janet, of Pine River and brother, Eric (Laura) Stromberg of Fifty Lakes.

Memorials are preferred to Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity or donor's choice.
