Carl Roseland

Carl Vernon Roseland, age 76, formerly of Baxter and St. Francis, died peacefully, Sunday, April 3, 2016, at his home in Pequot Lakes, MN. Carl was born at Grandma Putnam's house on March 19, 1940, in Anoka, MN to Olaf and Julia (Putnam) Roseland.
"Grandpa Carl" enjoyed camping, tinkering with cars, visiting his land in Ideal Corners and going with family to Walt Disney World. Carl was a custodian in the St. Francis and Pillager School Districts and also worked at Lakeland Color Press in Brainerd.
Carl is survived by his wife, Marion; daughter, Carla (Scott) Goddard; son, David; grandchildren, Jordan and Paxton; sisters, Carolyn (Henry) Voss and Joyce Blesi (Roger).
Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, April 9, at Grace United Methodist Church, Pequot Lakes, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
