Carl Link

Carl L. Link, 76, of Baxter died July 22, 2009 at his home. Services for Carl will be held Tuesday, July 28th at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Steve Laflamme officiating. Friends are welcome to visit Monday 5 to 7 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 6:30 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Carl was born November 3rd, 1932 in Staples, MN to Clarence and Lillian Link. He graduated from high school and worked for 25 years as an ore boat pilot on The Great Lakes. Carl married Marcella D. Piasecki on March 3rd, 1965. He was a member of St. Francis Church, enjoyed playing cards and loved Bingo. After retirement Carl enjoyed landscaping and gardening. He was a member of The Eagles Aires.

He is survived and missed by his wife, Marcella "Sally"; children, Tim (Anne) and Carla Rose; his granddaughter, Hilliary; and a mother-in-law, Cecelia Piasecki. He was preceded in death by his parents.
