Carl Anderson

Carl E. Anderson, 70, a resident of Nisswa his entire life, died Friday, March 20, 2015 at Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center Hospital in Brainerd, MN.

Carl was born on April 25, 1944 in Pequot Lakes, MN to Fred and Lillie (Wallin) Anderson. He graduated from Brainerd High School where he was involved in many sports. He then went onto Brainerd Junior College. Carl was united in marriage to Bernadine Eide on May 23, 1964. Carl worked for Super Valu for several years before working at Floor to Ceiling in Baxter, MN. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and bowling. Carl enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball in Nisswa for many years. He loved vanilla ice cream and spending time with his family.

Carl is survived by his wife, Bernadine; children, Debra (David) Hamren of Brooklyn Park, MN, Theodore (Mindy) Anderson of Fort Ripley, MN, and Jerome (Deborah) Anderson of Nisswa, MN; brother, Fred (Marilyn) Anderson of Two Harbors, MN; sisters, Gladys Schmidt and Mary (Loren) Bolton of Brainerd, MN; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Clifford; sisters, Irene Doris, and Viola (Jean).

A Celebration of Carl's life will be held from 3-5 PM, Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
