Candice Norgaard

Candice Mae Norgaard, age 39, of Crosslake, Minnesota passed away peacefully November 3, 2013 at St Joseph Medical Center in Brainerd, Minnesota. Candice was born June 11, 1974 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Charlotte and Vernon Bishop. Candice attended Hills City Schools and graduated from Hill City High School. In 1992 Candice married Shannon Christian. They moved to Brainerd, Minnesota and together owned Shannon's Auto Body. In 2013 Candice married Joel Norgaard and they lived in Crosslake, Minnesota.

Candice's great loves of her life were her children - Jade (20), Jordan (17), Chase (13) and Layne (11), and Joel's son Jack, (10). As great as her love for them was, they loved her back equally. Candice will be remembered for her good cooking, beautiful smile and deep soul but most importantly the love she had for her children.

Candice will be deeply missed by her children and husband Joel Norgaard, parents Vernon and Charlotte Bishop, two brothers Fred (Rayleen), Robert (Amanda), nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Candice's life will be held Tuesday, November 12 at 1pm at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, Minnesota. Family and friends are welcome to visit one hour prior to services.
