Candace Hurd

Candace Rae (Klocke) Hurd, age 48, of Pine River, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 22, 2023. 

Candi was born to Al and Barb Klocke in Rush City, MN, on May 14, 1975. She graduated from Pine River/Backus High School in 1994. Candi married Micheal Hurd on October 20, 2012. She was employed with LSS as head cook for the Meals on Wheels program.

Candi is survived by her husband, Micheal; stepson, Hunter; son, Trevor; parents, Al and Barb Klocke; in-laws, Paul and Mary Hurd; brothers, Jeremy (Reina) Klocke, Shawn Klocke; sister, Dawn (Travis) Nepsund; brother-in-law, Matthew (Adrienne) Hurd; many nieces and nephews that were the light of her life; and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Mark Hurd, and her grandparents.
