Calvin Zierke

Calvin J. (Tinker) Zierke, age 49, of Reeds Spring, MO, son of Calvin L. Zierke and Marvel Mae (Knudson) Christie, was born Nov.13, 1957 in Crosby, Minnesota and died Jan. 14, 2007 at his home. Calvin lived in Reed Spring for the past year. Calvin was raised in the Savage/Lakeville area of Minnesota and also lived in Hartford, WI for a while.
There will be a visitation and funeral at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter on March 3, 2007, starting at 11:00 AM. The services will be officiated by Paster Buck Huck(Cousin). Calvin will be laid to rest with his cherished grandmother, Ivy E. (Hall) Zierke, at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd, Minnesota. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held in Kimberling City, MO on January 17. On January 19 a Memorial Service was held at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, Milwaukee, WI.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Nancy Zierke Goggleye. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his beloved children, Zachary and Hollie Zierke; his dear sisters, Debra (Zierke) Krzyzaniak, of Palm Springs, CA and Sherrie (Zierke) Emerson, of Chetek, WI; close friend and caregiver, Bobbie Pleasant; and a host of relatives and friends.
