Bruce Ohland

Bruce Walker Ohland, 81, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on July 24, 2023. A celebration of life will be held 4pm-7pm at the Pequot Legion on August 25^th.

Bruce was born on February 7, 1942, to Clarence and Vernal (Walker) Ohland in Minneapolis Minnesota. He married Dianne Peterson on June 27, 1964. Bruce continued his education and received his Masters in teaching. He worked at the Anoka High School for 30 years teaching aviation science and biology. Bruce proudly served active duty in the Airforce during Vietnam and he flew C-141. He transferred to the Nation Guard and flew Huey helicopters.

Bruce enjoyed cooking, being outside doing yardwork and gardening. Above all else, he loved spending time with his friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife Dianne; children, Kristin (John) Emery, Mike (Shannon) Ohland; and grandchildren, Zack, Hannah, Jack, and Maggie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Pequot Lakes.
