Bracken ?Scooby? Kyle Pohl, age 7, went peacefully to be with Jesus, at home and surrounded by his loving family and friend, on Sunday afternoon, February 20, 2005. Funeral services will be Friday, February 25, 10:30 a.m., at Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter, with Reverend Mark Boone officiating. Friends may visit Thursday, February 24, 6-8 p.m., at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, and Friday at the church during the hour prior to services. Interment will be at Gloria Dei Cemetery in Pequot Lakes.
Bracken was born June 12, 1997 in Staples, to Kyle and Suzi (Poepke) Pohl. His family moved to Brainerd three years ago. A student at Garfield Elementary School, he was a happy child who enjoyed the excitement of life. He had a big smile and beautiful brown ?doe eyes.? He loved Scooby Doo and playing with his collection of 38 Batman ?guys,? including his all-time favorite, White Batman. Bracken knew and loved Jesus and died peacefully, knowing that he would be with his little sister, Mearan in heaven.
Bracken is deeply loved by his parents, Kyle and Suzi; two brothers, Gavin and Kegan; a sister, Mearan; his ?Grandma Lady,? Mary Bolin; his caregivers; therapists; and many family members and friends.
