Bonnie Lewandowski

May 13, 1940 — February 25, 2007

Bonnie M. Lewandowski, age 66, of Merrifield, passed away late Sunday evening at her home near Merrifield. Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake with Rev. Ralph Hegman officiating. Friends may call beginning at 10:00AM Thursday at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested.
Bonnie Marie Lewandowski was born on May 13, 1940, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of Vernon and Ruth (Wood) Branville. She grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Washington High School. On February 8, 1958, she was united in marriage to Daniel Lewandowski in St. Paul. To this union 3 sons were born. Following their marriage the couple lived in St. Paul and she worked for Staff Builders Home Health Care as a hospice worker. After moving to Merrifield she continued working in hospice care for Good Neighbor Health Care in Baxter. She was the head of the Mission Funeral Committee for many years. Among the things she enjoyed were growing flowers and feeding the birds.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ruth; and a sister, Lori Haller. Bonnie is mourned in passing by her husband of 49 years, Daniel of Merrifield; sons, Daniel Jr. of Merrifield, Duane (Tina) of Crosby, and Donald (Michelle) of Merrifield; 5 grandchildren, Derek, Erick, Austin, Donavan, and Mackenzie; special friend, Diane Bird; 4 brothers, Vernon Branville, of Minneapolis, Clinton Branville of St. Paul, Dwight Branville of Nashwauk, and Steven Branville of Brainerd; and 1 sister, Cindy Payne of St. Paul.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Crosslake.
