Bonita Mae Mudek

Bonnie Mudek of Crosslake, MN passed away in her home on September 14, 2024.

Bonnie was born in Saint Paul, MN on January 2, 1947. In 1966, Bonnie married her high school sweetheart Robert (Bob) Mudek and together they had three children: Shane, Judd, and Heather. During the summer of 1978 Bob and Bonnie moved their family to Crosslake MN and finalized their purchased of Riverside Inn Supper Club on August 4th, 1978. Together, they owned and operated Riverside Inn for over 45 years until their passing.

Bonnie loved to have a good time wherever she went and had a great sense of humor. She was also deeply passionate about cooking and food. She had a generous heart for those she loved and enjoyed spoiling her children and grandchildren. She especially loved Christmas and every year hosted Christmas for Kids parties which donated toys to local children. She would spend weeks baking thousands of homemade cookies to share with people in her community. She was also a founding member of the Crosslake-Ideal Corners Lioness Club. In 2023 Bonnie and Bob were Honorary Grand Marshals of the Crosslake St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bob Mudek and is survived by her three children Shane (Katie), Judd and Heather and two grandchildren Maxwell and Autumn.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake.
