Bobbie Kanegai

Bobbie Kanegai, age 71, of Pine River, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Brainerd. She was born to Paul and Mary Kanegai on April 19, 1950, in Wailuku, Hawaii.

Bobbie is survived by her siblings: Susan Klassen (Verl), Laura Minnich, Ronie Irish (Michael), Pauline Curry (Carter), Julia Green; nieces and nephews: Roy Paul, Ruby K, Mary Sue, Gary, Derrick, Donna, Tony, Karen, Tom, Doug, Roger, Tina, Craig, Sandra, Paul, Mary; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Catherine McInturff and Hattie Schreiber; and nieces, Debra Groff and Kim Curry.

Bobbie was very social. She especially loved kids, and for that matter most everyone. She loved playing games, going places and being with family.

Services will be 2 PM on Friday, May 28, at Mildred Bible Chapel, Backus. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
