Blanche Swift

Blanche Swift, age 93, of Pine River, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2009. She was born July 14, 1915, in Pine River, to Andrew and Agnes McAllister. She married Wayne Swift in Pequot Lakes on June 11, 1939.
Blanche is survived by her children: Sharon "Pete" Swift (Connie) of Brainerd, Collin Swift of Baxter, Cora Lee Monroe (Dennis) of Kenyon, Andy Swift (Marilyn) of Brainerd; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; sister, Edythe Bartlett; and brothers, Bill, Bob, Everett, Bruce, Albert and Alvin.
Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, May 30, at the Church of the Nazarene, Backus, with Pastor Greg Baker officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
