Blanche Haggberg

Blanche Haggberg, age 98, of Pine River, formerly McKinley Township, passed away Wednesday, June 17, at the Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. She was born July 31, 1916, in Park River, North Dakota.

Blanche worked at Badoura Nursery for many years and later at Cragun's Resort. She loved living in the country, making lefse and baking bread. The coffee pot was always on at Blanche's home. Blanche and her husband, Lloyd, looked forward to deer season and spending time with the hunters.

Blanche is survived by her children: Ila Sheppard (Bob), Carol Valentini (Ed), Gene Haggberg; grandchildren: Robin Lyon, Kevin Sheppard (Jennifer), Shari LaVigne (Gary), Nick Valentini (Lindsey), Tony Valentini (Michelle), Lane Haggberg, Erica Prigge; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by husband, Lloyd; daughter-in-law, Carol Ann; and several brothers and sisters.

Memorial services will be 1 PM on Tuesday, June 23, at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
