Blake Barker

Blake Barker, age 63, of Brainerd, passed away on January 16, 2025. Services will be held at a later date. 

Blake was born on September 16, 1961, to George and Ann (Eller) Barker in Onamia. He worked at Grand Casino Mille Lacs, where he began his career as a table games dealer before moving on to become a pit boss.

Blake was a true "Jack of all trades." He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, cooking, and shooting pool. He was lover of the outdoors, Blake enjoyed camping and motorcycle riding, always seeking adventure and new experiences. Above all, Blake was a devoted family man. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Blake is survived by his children, Sadie (Jesse) Anderson, of Brainerd, and Travis (Pam) Barker, of St. Augusta; seven grandchildren, Caleb, Alex, Abigail, Madison, Austin, Miichael and Vanessa; great granddaughter Adriana; siblings, Brett (Brenda), of Pierz MN, Bruce (Teri), of Brainerd MN, and former wife Pam. He is proceeded in death by her parents; sister Bonita; and brothers Paul, Timothy, and Brian.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
