Beverly Riemer

Beverly Riemer, 77, of Cushing died Thursday, April 3 at the Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls. Beverly June Bergren was born July 26, 1926 in Little Falls, to Oscar and Myrtle (Fye) Bergren. She grew up and graduated from high school in Little Falls. After graduation she worked at Gordon Guy?s Photography. She was united in marriage to Joseph Riemer on April 7, 1947 in Little Falls. The couple moved to Coon Rapids in 1963, where they raised their family. Following retirement in 1980 they moved to Cushing. Beverly became a resident of the Lutheran Care Center in 1998. She was widowed in 1999, after 52 years of marriage.
Beverly Riemer is survived by her daughter Brenda Mohler of Ramsey; her son Grant Riemer of Cushing; a sister Phyllis of St. Cloud; three brothers: Eldridge of WI, Gerald of MN, and Russell of AZ; six grandchildren: Melissa Smith, Courtney Mohler, Danielle Sandberg, Joseph Riemer, Monica Riemer, and Abigail Riemer; and two great-grandchildren: Alex and Hailey. Her parents, her husband, a brother Dale, and a sister Genevieve preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 8, 11:00 AM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, with Reverend Bob Twiton officiating. Interment will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Camp Ripley. Friends may visit Monday, 6-8:00 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall, and Tuesday for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer?s Association. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel of Randall.
