Beverly Dukowitz

Beverly Dukowitz, 71, of Staples died on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at her home in Staples, MN. Services for Beverly will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Church of Christ in Staples, MN with Pastor Barry Klein officiating and visitation one hour prior to services. Interment at Motley Public Cemetery to follow service.

Beverly was born on May 22, 1942 to Orin and Emma (Christenson) Christensen in Motley, MN. She attended Philbrook School until 8th grade and then went on to Staples High School. Beverly also attended schools in Brainerd, MN, Pine River, MN, and one year in Montana. She married Ronald Dukowitz on December 27, 1958. When Ron got out of the Army, they moved to St. Paul, MN and from there to Zimmerman, MN, and then on to Becker, MN, where they spent 32 years. Beverly worked at Federal Cartridge in Anoka, MN for three years, then for Hermes Floral for 22 years. She and Ron retired in May of 2000 and moved to Staples. Beverly loved to dance, do crosswords and loved Elvis!

Beverly is survived by three daughters, Rinda Gustafson of Monticello, MN, Ramona (Dennis) Tranna of Staples, MN, Ranae Rinerson of Staples, MN; four sisters, Sandra Trana of Staples, MN, Diane (Bob) Dickman of Staples, MN, Terri (Ken) Rubel of Staples, MN, Bonnie Carsten of Staples, MN; brother, Rick (Bonnie) Pohl of Staples, MN; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron; son, Ron Jr.; brother, Bob; sister-in-law, Connie; brother-in-law, Bud; son-in-law, Gusto; great grandson, Rollie; and nephew, Ricky. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
