Betty Roline

Betty Roline, 86, of Staples, MN died Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Lakewood Health System Care Center in Staples, MN. Funeral services for Betty will be 11:00AM, Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Staples United Methodist Church with Pastor Greg Ciesluk officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Moran Germania Cemetery.

Betty was born March 24, 1929 to Ernest and Lilly (Kurz) Daschler in Bertha, MN. She graduated as Valedictorian from Staples High School. Betty was united in marriage to Donald Roline on July 21, 1948 at Moran Methodist Church. She worked for the Staples School System as a secretary until her retirement in 1980, and then assisted her husband, Donald with American Family Insurance. Betty enjoyed reading, walking, square dancing, playing cards, volunteering, music, playing the piano, singing in the church choir, traveling, and the local arts and athletic activities.

Betty is survived by her children, Richard (Marilyn) Roline of Littleton, CO, Mark (Vicki) Roline of Spring Valley, WI, Joy Berg of Edina, MN, Kevin (Connie) Roline of Verndale, MN; 13 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lilly; husband, Donald and son, Timothy. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
