Betty Pemble

Betty Pemble, age 92, of Brainerd, MN passed away on October 22, 2023, in Brainerd. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday October 27, 2023, at 11:00am at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the start of the service at the Chapel.

Betty was born to Loddie and Lena Matejka on November 15, 1930, in Donnelly, MN. Betty married John Pemble on September 16, 1950, in Minneapolis, MN. She was employed for 40+ years as a Bookkeeping Supervisor at Northwestern National Bank, which then became Wells Fargo.

She enjoyed sewing, playing cribbage, 500, and Bingo, reading books, vegetable gardening, and spending time in the sunshine.

Betty is survived by her son Wes (Cheryl) Pemble, daughter Gayle (Daryl) Westerveld, grandchildren Jill Pemble, Joshua (Jennifer) Pemble, Beth (Andy) Eckert, and Randy (Christine) Hardman, four great grandchildren, her siblings Louella Kopel, Wayne Matejka, Winnifred Stanfield, and Vernon Matejka.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John, and her siblings Bernice Winter, Lillian Pariseau, Clarence Matejka, Roy Matejka, Jeanette Mickelson, Evelyn Kopel, her twin sister Bonnie Robinson, and Glenn Matejka.
