Betty Motl

Betty Mae Motl, 86, of Staples, MN passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, at the Staples Care Center in Staples, MN. Services for Betty will be at 2:00PM, Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, with Pastor Eugene Floistad officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples.

Betty was born in 1930 in Mahnomen MN. She married Donavon Motl of rural Browerville, MN on January 25 1948.

During her life, Betty was employed H.W Carter & sons for 14 years. Betty loved family get together and loved to hear piano and sing along whenever she could. She loved to visit neighbors and often had card parties with friends who came to visit. She was an excellent baker and cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donavon Richard Motl, Daughter Linda Marie Motl her parents, many sisters and brothers.

Betty is survived by her Son Dennis Richard Motl Robbindale, MN and Daughter Susan Motl Maier Hawley, MN and several nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Staples Care Center for the loving care they gave Betty for many years. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, MN.
