Betty Leonaock Sr

Betty Leona Srock was welcomed into heaven Wednesday, July 22, 2015. She was born Betty Leona Buxton March 6, 1928 in Austin, MN, where she spent her formative years. She later met and married Charles Arthur Srock also of Austin, MN. Together, they raised their seven children; Wade (Kari) Srock, Kim (Joanne) Srock, Vicki (John) Zacher, Tamela (Joe) Tkalicich, Tracy (Tracey) Srock, Shawna (Jerry) Fuhrer, and Troy (Melissa) Srock.

We rejoice in the knowledge that we will be reunited with her in Eternity and are thankful for our upbringing based on biblical truths. We pray that the steadfastness of our mother will cause us to be faithful in passing these truths on to her thirty grandchildren and fifty plus great-grandchildren.

Over the course of her life, Betty resided in many areas of Minnesota; Austin, Minneapolis, Ely, Alexandria, Crosby, and the Brainerd Lakes Area. She touched the lives of many through her love of laughter, welcoming spirit, and faith in God.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Srock; one brother, Harry Buxton; son-in-laws, James Johnson and John Zacher; and one great-grandson, Cedric Ross.
Her children welcome you to a Celebration of her Life at 2:00PM on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Crosslake Assembly of God Church, located 13819 County Road 36, Crosslake, MN. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
