Betty L. Henderson, 89, of Pine River, Minnesota died on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Brainerd, Minnesota. A Memorial Service for Betty is planned for Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, Minnesota at 3:00 P.M. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. Private internment will be held at Pinewood Cemetery in Crosslake, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Good Samaritan Society. Betty was born on May 17, 1920 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Clifford and Harriet (Dramsrud) Moberg. Betty was a member of the "Log Church", Crosslake Evangelical Free Church, her hobby was decorating and she loved playing cards and had a special interest in history. Betty was a Lioness, she also was very generous with organizations and charities, and was a prolific reader. Betty will be sadly missed by her children, Kay (Tom) Towne, Bob Henderson, and Scott (Sue) Henderson; her grandchildren Kelly (Michael) Branning, Debra Kelly, Katie Towne, Ted ( Michelle) Henderson, and Tracy Henderson; her great-grandchildren, Lacy Towne, Kayla Williams, Peden Williams, Cassie Williams, Onan Henderson, and Cassie Henderson. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jack and her parents, Clifford and Harriet.
