Bernice Knutson

Bernice Norma Knutson, age 89, lifelong resident of Pequot Lakes, passed away May 16, 2011, at Camilia Rose Care Center, Coon Rapids. She was born February 25, 1922 in Ideal Township, rural Pequot Lakes.

Bernice is survived by daughter, Karen Olson (Dennis) of Anoka; son, Roger Knutson (Deb) of Michigan; five grandchildren: Chris, Kyle, Kirk, Amy, Bethany; seven great grandchildren; sisters: Joyce Haugland (Bud) of Cloquet, Linda Mimm (Bill) of Pequot Lakes; sisters-in-law, Dolly Knutson and Rosellyn Knutson; brother-in-law, Kenneth Nelson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Ester Nemes; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by husband, Iver Knutson; parents, John and Clara Hanson; infant sister, Anna Bernice Hanson; sisters, Agnes Beavers, and Marlys Nelson.

Memorials are preferred to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, of which Bernice was a member.

Memorial service will be 1 PM on Saturday, May 28, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Pequot Lakes, with Pastor Donna Olsen officiating.
