Bernelle Ferrell

Bernelle (Bunny) Ferrell left us too soon on Monday, November 21, 2016 at her home. Memorial Services will be Saturday, December 3, at 11 AM at the Church of the Cross, in Nisswa. Visitation will start at 10 AM. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa.

Bernelle Elaine (Dybvik) Ferrell was born in Brainerd on July 17, 1926, to Paul and Jenny (Huseby) Dybvik. She graduated from Washington High School in 1944. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Robert B. Ferrell, on June 1, 1947. Bunny was a member of Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa, as well as the Nisswa Women’s Club, Chapter PEO, the Sons of Norway, and Fireweeds. She also taught adults to read through the Brainerd Education Center.

She is survived by three children, Layne Ferrell, Deann (Patrick) Corrick, and Kevin (Rolene) Ferrell; nine grandchildren, Trent (Ella) Johnson, Marion Frix, Aaron (Melody) Corrick, Joey (Dez) Ferrell, Alayna, Benjamin, and Daniel Corrick; Sam and BreeAnna (Chris) Koch; twenty great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Audrey Ferrell; a brother-in-law, Bert Caswell; and four nieces and nephews. Arrangements entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel and Cremation Service.
