Bernard Ford

Bernard Darrell Ford was born on Sept. 2, 1927, in Longville, MN, the son of James W. and Lucy (Thompson) Ford. He was called from this life early Monday morning, Oct. 18, 2004, at the Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. He had attained the age of 77 years, 8 months and 9 days.
Bernard grew up and attended school in Longville. After his schooling he worked for a short period of time for the railroad. He then moved to International Falls, working for the Minnesota and Ontario Paper Mill for quite a few years. Following his retirement from the paper mill he moved to Minneapolis and worked for World Tronics making lawnmower blades.

Bernard was a member of the Bethany Good Samaritan Auxiliary, the Resident Bell Choir, Garden Club, and Men?s Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lucy; and brothers and sisters, Phoebe, Leslie, and Bill. Bernard is mourned in passing by his siblings, Connie Ford and Vera Ford of the Woodland Good Samaritan Village, Helen Tindall of Hayfield, MN, Sandy Goodfellow of Farmington, MN, and Velma Ford and Larry Ford of Nisswa, MN.
