Bernard Deml

Bernard John Deml, 73, of Cushing, died unexpectedly Tuesday, January 01, 2008. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
Bernard was born March 18, 1934 in Owatonna, MN, the son of Anton and Helen (Renchin) Deml. After graduating from Owatonna High School, Bernard enlisted in the US Army. He was honorably discharged in 1958. He worked in radio and television broadcasting, as well as electronics. He made his home in rural Cushing until his death.

He enjoyed traveling, flying, and amateur radio. Bernard enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking. He loved his family.

Bernard will be missed by his children, Michele (Ron) Johnson, of Minnetonka, MN, Pamela Deml, of New Hope, MN, and Melissa Deml, of Golden Valley, MN and his brothers, Francis (Pat) Deml, of Owatonna and Roger Deml, of Owatonna. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas and Theodore.
