Beatrice Pull

Mrs. Beatrice Pull passed away on May 8, 2001 at the Woodland Good Samaritan nursing home in Brainerd, at age 101. Memorial services will be at Woodland Good Samaritan on Thursday, May 17, 2001, at 1:00 PM, with Reverend Mark Anderson officiating. Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
Beatrice Gronningen was born to Thor J. and Anna Bursett Gronningen on November 20, 1899, in Bath, SD. She was the second of six children, all of whom have preceded her in death. She was raised in Buxton, ND, where her father was a Norwegian Lutheran Minister. She attended Mayville College and worked as a schoolteacher until she married Albert N.J. Pull in 1920. She lived in Fargo, ND until 1986, when she moved to Brainerd, MN. Beatrice was a long-time active member of the First Lutheran Church in Fargo.

Survivors include a daughter, Sybil (Norman) Vowles of Maple Valley, WA; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a daughter-in-law, Pauline Pull, of Crosslake, MN. Her son Albert (Buzz) Pull passed away in May 2000.
